Statement of Faith

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our beliefs are not guided by any humanly inspired writing without the inspiration of God or by any human group created maybe with good intentions or with a good purpose, but our beliefs are guided exclusively by the Word of God, which consists only of 66 books, not more, not less, who were writings inspired by God the Father through his Holy Spirit and given his revelation to his prophets. The Word of God, the Bible is the only book that guides our spiritual life in order to be saved from the eternal punishment through the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is, the anointed One, the Son of the living God.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT GOD, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

WE BELIEVE IN ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD: THE FATHER.

We believe that «But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.» (1 Corinthians 8:6). These same words were spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ when he was praying to his God and Father, saying, » These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:1-3). In this way, the Lord Jesus Christ revealed to us that the only true God is his God and Father.

And why do we believe that the Father is the God of our Lord Jesus Christ?

Because it is written:
The Lord Jesus Christ himself called his own Father “my God”: «And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46) «And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Mark 15:34) «Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” (John 20:17) «Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” (Revelation 3:12)

As we can see in these passages, the Lord Jesus Christ himself openly declared that his Father is also his God, meaning that the Lord Jesus Christ, although He is God’s only begotten Son and not “a Creature” (as some sects believe), He is subordinate to his God and Father. This can also be seen when the Lord Jesus Christ said, “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28) and also when he said, “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” (John 10:29). Each of the apostles’ letters begins with a greeting from «God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.» We will not go into detail in this section, as this will be further explained in a future section of our Bible studies.

WE BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE ANOINTED ONE, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

If we believe that only the Father is the one true God, according to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, then perhaps your question is: Who or what, then, is the Lord Jesus Christ? The answer is that Jesus is the Christ —and always will be—the only begotten Son of of the Living God as Peter said by revelation from God Himself (Matthew 16:15-18).

None of the angels came out of God as literal children of God. They were created by the Word of God. When God spoke through His Son Jesus Christ, they came into existence. This is in contrast to the Lord Jesus Christ, who existed before all things and beings were created. He literally came out of God, just as a son literally comes from his father. In the same way, the Lord Jesus Christ came out of God the Father. It was by his Son and through His Son that God created all things and beings.

The answer is simple if we study the Scriptures deeply. As we can clearly see, God Himself declared that Jesus Christ is His “beloved Son.”

Let us look:

«And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’” (Matthew 3:17) «While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.’” (Matthew 17:5) «And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Mark 1:11) «And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.” (Mark 9:7) «And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:22) «And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.” (Luke 9:35)

In the same way, the Lord Jesus Christ himself declared to be the Son of God. Let us see:
«Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.” (John 9:35-37) «Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? (John 10:36) «When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.’” (John 11:4) «And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass…’” (Revelation 2:18)

Those who heard him also testified that Jesus is the Son of God, and not God himself; this subject will be explained in more detail in a future section of our Bible studies.

WE BELIEVE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE VERY SPIRIT OF GOD THE FATHER AND OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

According to the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit, also called the “Spirit of God,” “Spirit of the Lord,” and by many other names, is not a third person known as “the third Person in the Godhead”, as most of the world believes and even as most of those who call themselves “Christians” believe. The Lord Jesus Christ himself taught us that the Holy Spirit is indeed the Spirit of his Father. This is evident when comparing Matthew 10:20 and Mark 13:11, where it is clearly indicated that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God the Father. God the Father anointed Jesus of Nazareth with his own Holy Spirit (Acts 10:38) on the day of Jesus’ baptism (Matthew 3:13-17, Mark 1:9-11, Luke 3:21-22, John 1:29-34). The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, also gave his Father’s Spirit to his disciples on the night he appeared to them (John 20:22). Together, God and his Son Jesus Christ communicate with us through their Holy Spirit (John 14:15-31). This began on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-47), when the Holy Spirit of the Father was poured out on all who believed in the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Gentiles.

In this way, we understand that the Holy Spirit is not “the third Person” but rather the very presence of God and his Son Jesus Christ manifesting to us in an invisible and omnipresent way, as reflected in Psalm 139:1-24 and many other passages that we will analyze in detail in upcoming Bible studies.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT OTHER TOPICS

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Each topic addressed in this ‘Statement of Faith’ will be analyzed and studied in detail in future publications, whether in the form of blog posts, Bible studies, downloadable resources, or video documentaries. This section provides only a brief overview of what we believe regarding the topics mentioned here.

_____________________________________________________________________

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT SALVATION

Salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE SCRIPTURES

The Scriptures also known as «The Bible» is the living Word of God consisting only of 66 books written by holy men of God and inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE AFTERLIFE

We believe that there are two phases of two eternal fates for every human being: Before the resurrection, the condemned are taken to Hades or Sheol to wait for their final judgement, and the dead in Christ go to the place of rest under the Great Altar of God in Heaven. After the resurrection and the Millennial Kingdom of Christ, the resurrected condemned will be cast forever into the Lake of Fire to be punished consciously along with Satan, his fallen angels, the Beast, and the False Prophet forever and ever. Meanwhile, the resurrected saints will live in the New Earth and the New Heavens forever and ever.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE END TIMES

Among all of the events of the end times that we will analyze in detail in coming publications, we believe that the most important event of the end times is the physical and visible second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory of God his Father with all of his holy angels to establish his Millennial Kingdom.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE CHURCH

We believe that the Church is the assembly or congregation the saints of God, composed of those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As the Church, we will be united as a Bride with the Lord Jesus Christ or future Bridegroom at the marriage supper of the Lamb. Additionally, as a corporate spiritual “female” nation, referred to as “Israel,” we (both Jews in the flesh and Gentiles in the flesh) will be joined to the Lord Jesus Christ forever and ever.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT SIN

We believe that sin is transgression of the Law of God (1 John 3:4), and human beings are not born in sin, as taught by the doctrine of “original sin.” However, we recognize that the consequences of Adam’s sin affect all humanity and the creation in general. We believe that “the soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20), and we understand that chapter 18 of the prophet Ezekiel refutes the doctrine of “original sin” regarding the transference of guilt. Therefore, we affirm that all children who die physically will not face eternal condemnation, as they are not aware of their actions, and we trust in God’s mercy toward them. Our Lord Jesus Christ declared that “the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).

Although the Bible does not clearly specify an age at which humans become fully responsible for their sins, we deduce that children begin to take responsibility for their own actions at the age of twelve. This deduction is based on biblical examples, such as the passage where Jesus was found in the temple at that age (Luke 2:42).»

We also believe that every human being, after the age of 12, has sinned, and for this reason, all of us deserve eternal death. However, we believe that there has been only One who never sinned, though He was tempted in all things. This One remained innocent, pure and blameless from the day of His birth to the day of His death, and this was the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Being innocent of all sin and guilt before God, He paid for our sins, taking upon Himself the punishment of death and bearing the full weight of God’s wrath on the cross of Calvary. He poured out His precious blood, through which we can be justified freely by faith in Him and cleansed of all sin and guilt before God, so that we may be saved from eternal punishment and through his resurrection we may receive the gift of resurrection and eternal life. This gift is available if we believe in Jesus as our only Lord and Savior. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT BAPTISM

We believe that baptism is a commandment given by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16). It is not an optional practice but a commandment. It is not merely a public declaration of faith, as many teach, but an act of obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ before God, for the cleansing and forgiveness of our sins. Baptism is a step that follows believing by faith and is a symbol of our death and resurrection with our Lord Jesus Christ. For this reason, baptism must be by full immersion, symbolizing death.

The Lord Jesus Christ commanded to baptize ‘in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,’ and the apostles obeyed this as the Lord Jesus Christ instructed. This name is ‘Jesus Christ,’ which is why all the disciples baptized ‘in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,’ because this Name is the Name above all names. The disciples did not contradict the Lord Jesus Christ but fulfilled His words and followed them to the letter.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE LAW

We believe that the Law of God is good, acceptable, and perfect, and that it was given as a system for the world to live in perfection and peace before Him. For this reason, the Law of God contains many ordinances for the people of God to obey to the letter. However, we understand that humanity, in general, has been unable to fully keep the Law of God, except for the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, we cannot rely on the Law to be saved from eternal condemnation, for Christ came for this very purpose. The Law served as a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, who fulfilled the Law and has imputed His righteousness to us who have believed in Him for the salvation of our souls.

As the Scripture says, by the Law no one will be justified before God, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. At the moment of faith, God quickens our faith, making it a living faith. It is this living faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, that enables us to walk in the Law of God—not by our own strength, but by the grace and mercy of God.

We acknowledge that, although there are slightly more than 600 commandments in the Law of God, the Law is summarized in these two commandments:

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:37-40, KJV)

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE LORD’S SUPPER

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a commandment given by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, to be celebrated in remembrance of His death, as it took place during the Passover but without any further sacrifice, because the Lord Jesus Christ is our ultimate sacrifice. The elements of bread and new wine are not literally the flesh and blood of the Lord Jesus but symbols of His body and blood, which we partake of by faith—not literally eating His body or drinking His blood, but recognizing them as symbols. We are to keep this remembrance until His second coming, as He commanded us to do.
